    HIGH-TEMPERATURE INSULATION TAPE

Fibreglass Tadpole Tape – 550°C P Seal Gasket
Flexible Bulb Seal for Furnace, Kiln & Oven Doors

Fibreglass Tadpole Tape—also referred to as P Seal Tape—is designed for static sealing in extreme heat environments. Its bulb-and-tail structure provides compression sealing around access panels, inspection doors, and flanges where movement or irregular gaps may be present.

With a continuous temperature resistance up to 550°C and a resilient braided fibreglass exterior, this tape is trusted across industrial enclosures, ovens, kilns, and furnaces.

    Key Features:

    • High Temperature Rating: Performs at continuous service temperatures up to 550°C
    • Bulb Sizes: Available from 6.5 mm to 50 mm to suit various gap sizes and sealing pressures
    • Core Construction: Choose soft or firm core for different compression requirements
    • Tail Options: Supplied in various widths and shapes for custom sealing profiles
    • Customisable: Special grades and oversized options available on request

    Applications:

    • Oven and inspection door sealing
    • Kiln and furnace access panel gaskets
    • Industrial ovens and heated enclosures
    • Static sealing of boiler or duct doors

Often paired with fibreglass braided seals for edge sealing or high-compression zones, or with fibreglass rope lagging for thermal insulation in high-temperature systems.
