1. Does it need to support load or stay rigid?

Calcium Silicate Board is typically used where structural stability, rigidity and back-up insulation are required.

2. Do you need to cut, drill or machine the board?

Millboard is commonly used for machinable thermal and electrical insulation, including gaskets, heat shields and fabricated components.

3. Are you working at very high temperatures (above ~1100°C)?

Ceramic Fibre Board is best suited for very high temperature insulation, thermal shock resistance and lightweight heat containment.

4. Looking for a premium lightweight insulation board?

Superwool Plus Board provides lightweight high-temperature insulation with improved handling characteristics and excellent thermal performance.

Handling & Transport Information

High temperature insulation boards should be transported flat and fully supported wherever possible. Transporting boards on edge or without adequate support may result in edge damage, cracking, or breakage. Minor edge chipping can occur during handling and transport and does not normally affect the thermal performance of the board.
