Ceramic Fibre Hardener — also commonly referred to as a Ceramic Refractory Rigidiser — is a high-performance inorganic liquid agent designed to improve the surface strength and durability of ceramic fibre products (often known as Kaowool) such as blankets, modules, papers, and boards. Supplied in 1 L and 5 L containers, its specialised formulation increases resistance to erosion and abrasion, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding high-temperature environments.

Thin surface coating (4 mm thick): approx. 2.5 L/m²
Full saturation (25 mm thick, 128 kg/m³ density): approx. 17 L/m²
Coverage may vary depending on application and substrate.
Drying Instructions:
Air Drying: Allow a minimum of 24 hours for air drying.
Accelerated Drying: Oven or heated drying can be used, but rapid drying may cause surface migration of the rigidiser.
Safe Handling:
Avoid skin, eye, and respiratory contact. Refer to the product SDS for detailed safety instructions.
Use recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling.
