Ceramic Fibre Tape is an industrial-grade insulation tape, reinforced with stainless steel wire for exceptional strength and durability. Designed for extreme environments, it provides reliable performance at elevated temperatures up to 1260°C, making it a trusted alternative to asbestos-based products.
Key Features
Temperature rating: continuous service up to 1260°C
Ceramic fibre melting point: 1760°C
Stainless steel wire limit: withstands temperatures up to 1100°C
Thermal efficiency: low conductivity (<0.18 W/mK at 1000°C) and minimal shrinkage (3% at 1150°C)
Composition: Al₂O₃ 46%, SiO₂ 53%, ZrO₂ 0%
Structure: fibre diameter 3–4 microns, white colour, with 18% organic fibre that burns off cleanly at high heat
Electrical properties: ceramic fibres are non-conductive; stainless steel reinforcement is conductive
