    G10 / G11 Epoxy Glass Slot Wedges

G10 and G11 epoxy glass slot wedges are rigid electrical insulation components used in electric motor rewinding, stator slot insulation and high-performance coil retention applications. Manufactured from glass reinforced epoxy laminate, these wedges provide excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability and dielectric performance in demanding industrial environments.

These rigid epoxy fibreglass wedges are commonly used where higher mechanical strength and improved thermal performance are required compared to traditional wooden slot sticks. They are suitable for electric motors, generators, alternators and other rotating electrical equipment operating in demanding service conditions.

    Custom Manufacturing Available
G10 and G11 slot wedges can be custom machined to suit specific stator slot profiles, dimensions and insulation requirements. Some applications may require customer drawings or sample wedges for accurate manufacturing.
    High Mechanical Strength
Rigid epoxy glass construction provides excellent slot retention and resistance to vibration, compression and operational stress.
    Excellent Electrical Insulation
Designed for demanding electrical insulation applications requiring reliable dielectric performance and dimensional stability.
    Elevated Temperature Capability
G11 epoxy laminate is commonly used in higher temperature electrical insulation applications requiring long-term thermal stability.
    Common Applications
    • Electric motor rewinding and repair
    • Stator slot insulation systems
    • Generator and alternator insulation
    • High-temperature electrical insulation applications
    • Industrial rotating equipment maintenance

Typical FR4 / G11 epoxy laminate properties include high dielectric strength, strong compressive performance and excellent insulation resistance for demanding electrical applications.

If you are matching an existing wedge profile, please provide dimensions, drawings or sample wedges where possible. This helps ensure the correct slot wedge profile and laminate grade are selected for your application.
