    Mark 50HP Series Back-Pressure Regulator
High-Pressure Upstream Pressure Control for Industrial Systems

The Mark 50HP Series by Jordan Valves is a self-operated back-pressure regulator designed to maintain stable upstream pressure in high-pressure industrial systems. Using Jordan’s sliding gate seat technology and an elongated spring housing, the Mark 50HP precisely relieves or bypasses excess pressure to maintain a predetermined upstream setpoint.

Engineered for demanding service conditions up to 450 psi, the Mark 50HP is commonly used for pump discharge pressure control, bypass protection, autoclaves, recirculation systems, process equipment protection, and minimum upstream pressure maintenance. Its compact sliding gate design provides excellent wear resistance, low maintenance requirements and stable control under varying operating conditions.

    Key Features:

    • High Pressure Capability: Handles set points up to 450 psi, making it suitable for demanding applications.
    • Robust Design: The large spring holds the sliding gate seats in their normally closed position, ensuring reliable performance.
    • Versatile Applications: Perfect for pump discharge pressure control, bypass lines, and autoclave pressure regulation.
    • Size Range: Available in sizes up to 4” (DN100) to accommodate various system requirements.
    Back-pressure vs pressure reducing regulators
Jordan back-pressure regulators are designed to control and maintain stable upstream pressure by relieving or bypassing excess system pressure.

If your application requires controlled downstream outlet pressure reduction for steam, air, gas or liquids, see our Mark 60 Series pressure reducing regulators.
