ThermGrip – High Temperature Air-Setting Cement for Fibre & Steel Bonding
Durable Ceramic Adhesive for Bonding Fibre Insulation to Steel & Refractory Surfaces

ThermGrip is a high-performance, air-setting adhesive formulated for bonding high-temperature refractory fibre products to steel or refractory surfaces. It cures to a strong ceramic finish with excellent thermal shock resistance, providing a reliable, long-lasting bond in demanding heat environments.

    Key Features:

    • Temperature Resistance: Withstands continuous service up to 1000 °C.
    • Strong Ceramic Bond: Forms a stable, durable finish after curing.
    • Thermal Shock Resistance: Maintains integrity in fluctuating high temperatures.
    • Multi-Surface Bonding: Adheres to steel, ceramic fibre, and low-porosity refractory materials.
    • Low Shrinkage: Minimal dimensional change during drying.

    Typical Applications:

    • Bonding ceramic fibre blankets, boards, or modules to steel and refractory surfaces.
    • Securing ceramic fibre paper insulation layers in ducting, furnace walls, or kiln linings.
    • Adhering loose ceramic fibre bulk into shaped forms or repairs.
    • Spot bonding in boilers, kilns, ovens, and other industrial high-heat installations.
