Fiberfrax® LDS Moldable is a highly adaptable ceramic fibre insulation compound designed for casting, patching, coating, and lining in extreme temperature environments. Its sticky, water-based binder forms a strong bond with refractory and metal surfaces, drying into a durable, low-conductivity barrier that withstands up to 1260°C.
Perfect for both structural and maintenance insulation, LDS Moldable offers excellent thermal resistance, minimal shrinkage, and a hardened finish—ideal for use across high-heat industrial applications and refractory repair.
Key Benefits:
Common Applications:
Frequently used alongside Fiberfrax® QF180 Coating for surface sealing or with Fiberfrax® XJ1 Pumpable where injection-style application is needed.
