Noise & Vibration Control Flooring for Marine and Offshore Applications

Decidamp® SLC is a two-component, self-levelling polyurethane damping compound developed for marine, offshore, and heavy industrial flooring applications. It reduces structure-borne vibration, impact noise, and footfall transmission by utilising its viscoelastic properties, delivering superior acoustic comfort and compliance with marine standards.

Designed as a primary deck layer or sub-layer, Decidamp® SLC provides a seamless flat surface ideal for uneven substrates such as warped steel or aluminium decks. Once cured, it acts as a constrained layer damper that enhances acoustic insulation, vibration isolation, and structural durability.

The full Decidamp® family also includes SP80 for building and industrial noise control, SP150 for marine and industrial structures, SP450 for rail and automotive vibration damping, and SP500 for heavy transport and underbody protection. Specialist CLD compounds include DC06 for marine and defence applications, and DC30 for general industrial and structural damping.
