Decidamp® DC30 – Two-Component Polyurethane Damping Paste High-Performance Vibration & Noise Control for Marine, Transport & Industrial Structures
Decidamp® DC30 is a two-component polyurethane damping paste formulated for constrained layer damping (CLD) systems used in marine, transport, industrial and structural applications. Its excellent viscoelastic properties significantly reduce structure-borne vibration and airborne noise radiation across a wide range of demanding environments.
Applied between a substrate (steel, aluminium or composite) and a counter plate, DC30 cures to form a durable, non-shrinking damping layer. Its thixotropic composition prevents slumping on vertical surfaces, ensuring reliable performance for both interior and exterior installations.
Coverage Information
Supplied as an 11 kg two-part kit: Part A (10 kg) and Part B (1 kg).
1.3 kg of mixed DC30 provides a 1 mm cured layer over 1 m² of surface area.
An 11 kg kit provides approximately 8 m² total coverage at 1 mm thickness.
