Decidamp® DC30 – Two-Component Polyurethane Damping Paste High-Performance Vibration & Noise Control for Marine, Transport & Industrial Structures
Decidamp® DC30 is a two-component polyurethane damping paste designed for constrained layer damping systems (sandwich construction). With excellent viscoelastic properties, it significantly reduces structure-borne vibration and radiated airborne noise across marine, automotive, rail, and heavy industry applications.
Applied between a substrate (steel, aluminium, or composite) and a counter plate, Decidamp® DC30 bonds during curing to form a durable damping layer. It is corrosion-resistant, thixotropic (non-slumping on vertical surfaces), and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The wider Decidamp® range also includes SP80 for building and industrial applications, SP150 for marine and industrial use, SP450 for rail and automotive systems, and SP500 for heavy transport and underbody protection. Other specialist products include DC06 for marine and defence CLD systems, and SLC, a sprayable lightweight coating for building and transport structures.
